*May 4, 2003

I'll be absent for a while it seems
as the voices cease to speak.
I'll return again when I deem
the voices, again, begin to peek.
As for now, I must attend other things
until I feel creative writing pangs
Urging me to continue, to ease the pain
of silence clouded in rain.

I need to take a creative break for a little while--do not be alarmed I am not leaving because of something that someone said or didn't--I simply need a break as the creative juices just aren't flowing for me right now. See you all in a little while. J.

Know the feeling, J. Spent a few weeks not long ago just blank of passion or inspiration, a very unsettling feeling...being pent up in my head with no where to go. Hope you find your way back to the light of creativity, it all bottles up when it doesn't get written out. Stop and smell the flowers or go fishing, maybe lounge at a beach or walk in the woods. Hope to see you soon! :)

You Look FatCalgary by RickthePoetWarrior

Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
