Adrian is the bishop of a church in Albania, unbeknown to me at the time. When I met him he was an interpretor for U.S. forces in Albania during the Kosovo campaign.

It was God's will I met you--
I see it now--
to prep my heart for what lie ahead.
I had no idea
in a year your church would be mine.
Who would have thought?

It was interesting to talk with you, my friend.
It really was nice
to see another perspective of life and will.
I did not know,
so far away from my earthly home, in Albania.
You spoke fondly of your wonderful wife.
You missed her much.

You said you went to America for training
but what ever for?
You said you had lots of moral friends there too.
I had no idea.
How could you gain such good friends so fast
in a land so far away?

It all sounded so strange to me then.
But, I see it now.
You went to America for mission training
at the MTC
Your brothers and sisters in Christ where your friends--
so moral and true .

You know they say for one person to be converted
several members take part.
Adrian, you were one of the several people
it took for me.
So, if I don't see you again on earth
I will in heaven.

There was something in your demeanor
that drew me to Him.
