*Jan. 14, 1991. Now I'm going back, way, way, way back here in the archives. This one is patterned after one of Tennison's poems if I remember right. Classic form in it's most basic frame.

Now there was prepared on that day
A temporary place for the Ark to stay
Which was at Jerusalem, mighty and fair,
And all of Israel was gathered there.

The chief of the Levites did as David spake,
And their brethren were given each man a place.
Some had sung from within their heart,
Others blew trumpets before the Ark.

They brought the Ark of the Covenant
And set it into the tent,
And offered unto God burnt offerings,
And recorded these wonderful things.

Then David delivered a Psalm that day
To thank the Lord his God, and say,
His power and glory is unfurled,
And make known His salvation to all the world.
