We as a modern industrialized, capitolistic society
often view progress simply as selling our various product
or, by how many gadgets have we now sold.
Many times we dabble in various foreign markets.
Simply, without this dabbling we could not hold
on to our way of life--the "American" way.
What we sometimes--and very dreadfully indeed--
fail to remember when going to foreign markets
is, stoically this: there are other cultures.
We engulf foreign entities with our goods,
influencing the basic ways they go about
doing different tasks--destroying tradition.
Popular music, anywhere in the world, I have learned,
is becoming more and more largely "American" by nature.
It is a shame that the other countries are becoming "Americanized!"
