Those years before, and past events, Hang like silken ghosts, feigning hovered flight, Just out of sight, just over the horizon, Just not like they really happened.
But they did somewhere, back there, danced, On the tip of memorie's hazy, remembered plain.
The last part of this makes one question the first part of it... Is the past really shut up tight? The past is what created our present and our future, so the pressing of the present is only belieing what already has been. I love your last lines here, "But they did somewhere, back there, danced, On the tip of memorie's hazy, remembered plain." That's where it all remains after the moment is passed.... great write....
