My poem "Apple Eating Old Fashion Gal" is about the quintessential girl next door who steals the heart of any guy that she passes by....
"APPLE EATING OLD FASHION GAL" Regina was just being herself The apple eating old fashion gal Not trying to be quietly stealth In a whirl the next door gal Why would anyone want her to change While doing one of her favorite things Eating an apple as she moved about And of course without a doubt And defintely not to mention For the guys were paying attention Their active minds were in a whirl As she gave her hair a twist and twirl

An apple a day may keep the doctor away, but it's sure to bring suitors galore. Methinks she had other properties than being old-fashioned and apple eating that was attracting those guys.

I've never seen my neighbor eating an apple.
Now a banana is an entirely different story.
I could be wrong. My eyes are going bad.
