Goodness is often overlooked by others. They don't recognize it or refuse to acknowledge it.

As companies try to continue to prosper under freer enterprise with sharks all around, toxic workplaces abound. Good luck in finding one without starting one's own company.

No matter where you go, you're sure to a-holes. The general public is full of them. The thing to remember is that at one time or another we've all been a-holes. It's just the human condition.

It is always a wonderful experience when everything goes well and everyone likes you....It's like life is like a "Magic Carpet Ride"....

But when everything goes downhill and you have to deal with a bunch of contentious snarling people....Well....You feel like a prisoner....

Those people's attitude sounds exactly like one of the departments I had walked myself into to help with their heavy workloads. Quite the contrary they liked me there because I wasn't there permanently. I took a higher acting position from them and loaned myself out to them from my own department so I didn't present to them as someone who would take their job away.

They liked my cheerful attitude, and they called me "A breath of fresh air". I worked there for a few months and then loaned myself out to another department also on a yet higher position, was supposed to be there only a few months, and yet ended up staying there for many years. Gained my experience, and then continued on getting higher levels of acting positions. I never had to write any exams. for any competitiions like many had struggled to do in order to get to another level, because I had the experience the job caĺls for.
