My prose / poem "1964....Dizzy Dean At The Baseball Game" is about the great baseball pitcher who became a legendary baseball game announcer. My poem is in my poetry book "The Journey Through My Life".
1964...."DIZZY DEAN AT THE BASEBALL GAME" My dad took to to Philly's Connie Mack To see Gene Mauch's Phillies play Willie Mays and the San Fransisco Giants It was the TV "Game Of The Week" Dizzy Dean was announcing the game As the game got started And the innings wore on It was a very close game Dizzy would be waving His big Ten Gallon hat Outside of the announcers booth Waving to all of the fans The final score was 4 to 3 Besides seeing Say Hey Willie Seeing Dizzy Dean waving his hat Was really a great sight to see
