My poem "A Day....December 22, 1989....Fireworks Before Christmas" is about going home from work at night and seeing a fireworks display that someone set off.
"A DAY....DECEMBER 22,1989....FIREWORKS BEFORE CHRISTMAS It was a Friday night Before Christmas Day I was driving home that night From the joyous work day When I saw a shooting light Rise up into the night sky There was a bright burst of colors Of multiple sparkling colors And as the colorful display was fading My mind began to wondering What was the special occasion Besides the holiday celebration
