My poem "The Hustle And Bustle Of Life" is about how we have gone about living our lives during COVID-19.

"THE HUSTLE AND BUSTLE OF LIFE"

The hustle and bustle of life

Came to a screeching halt

On that mid March day of life

And it out us deep in thought

The unprecedented shut down

Was for all of us a let down

We have had time to think

And it has drivern some to drink

But as time worn on heavens sake

Have had the chance in life to remake

But as time marches onward

We try to mover on forward

And not let us be captives

But find a way to be active

You certainly parallel what happened with your poem. But around here, "the hustle and bustle of life," has been quite constant with so many generally disregarding the warnings and measures to be taken in order to reestablish their busy lifestyles. The result of course, is that the United States, with all of its freedoms, has the highest infection, hospitalization and death rate for the virus in the entire world. Certainly says something about us.

You Look FatCalgary by RickthePoetWarrior

Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
