My poem "The Storm" is about an approaching storm that appeared menacing.

 "THE STORM"

The approaching clouds

Got increasingly darker

Could hear the rumblings

Of very loud thunder

And the slight breeze

That would become windier

As the rain apprached

It commenced as a downpour

I love storms (benevolent ones) and I do miss the lively thunderstorms of the past. They hardly ever materialize around here anymore. Be well, Stephen.

You have described the upcoming storm so well in this one. Well-described atmosphere!

I have known that "windier" to be a blast that knocked down trees and moved cars.

The power of storms, and especially their lightning, is immense to behold.

Beside Still Waters by Jill Eisnaugle

Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
