My poem "A Day....January 16, 1977....The Ducklings" is about a cold, cloudy, snowy, January day and out of the blue a flock of ducklings appeared, waddling along the front yards of a neighborhood street.
"A DAY....JANUARY 16, 1977....THE DUCKLINGS"
It was a Sunday
A cold, cloudy day
A typical winter's day
In the month of January
A light snow started falling
Out of the blue it was starting
A flock of white ducklings
Were in the front yards waddling
To watch this scene was so neat
As the ducklings waddled up the street

Reviews of "A DAY....JANUARY 16, 1977....THE DUCKLINGS"
A blustery winter day can bring out all kinds of creature experiences. One time when I was staying with my brother there was a holly bush just outside the door. We had a snowfall and birds came, I can't remember for sure if it was cardinals or robins. But they ate every holly berry in short order and left to find some other food.
