Missed You. I always love your rhyme. I admire your tenacity under such pain. I had mine out at 32 and I know how tough it can be on an older person. Not saying you are old, of course. (lol)Hope you feel better. Stay away from the Potato Chips.

Yes,well there are certainly all sorts of pain...and usually my poems of this nature do tend to be based more on depression, or depressive thoughts, than any actual physical pain (even this one). But, just so you know, that doesn't mean I am depressed, though I do know it very well, just seems that I get the urge to write more when I'm a bit down...so they usually tend to come out sounding like this. lol...I always enjoy seeing what the reader gets out of my rambles, because I usually just start writing...and just see where it ends up. :) Thank always for reading!

Now, you're scaring me...one of my 12-year-olds is getting a tonsillectomy in two weeks...I hope he won't have an experience like the one you have described.

I agree with Linda and the pain when I had cancer the last time was unreal but it was by his crown of thorns that I was healed.

This is PAIN! Remove the preface, and this could be a most poignant write about depression. Well written, Melissa!
