Carpet Woe Ditty

 
My travel began at the Depot
where I visited with Corelli,
but then moved on to Fort Zach…
I found a home in Hope Bay,
but they wanted too much for the yard. 

I talked with Rich and Abbey,
about Alexander Smith--
thinking he could remove my longing
for peaceful and quiet
Hope Bay… 

While I found I must truly admit
his home was a Nature’s Dream,
The reality of it was…
His yard was more than I’d pay
in Hope Bay. 

I went to the great Northwest,
but I should have just gone to the moon.
I went to the Garage
and the Warehouse,
but my heart was still in Hope Bay. 

Each time I went to the Depot
they tried to coerce me to buy,
but only wanted to sell me more yards…
when all that I really wanted
was a home full of yards of Hope Bay.
