Cryssa, this is, of course, a very well-done poem. But I think you also have cught the essense of much of what we are about here. We are told over and over again that God is love, and much of what we experience here is a call for us to love without succumbing to the trials of this world. Your reflections are what you are called upon to do. I doubt that we will find that this world was an ending, but only a preparation for what is to come..........Jerry
... reads like a Stir-Up Sunday sermon: over here, it's traditionally the first Sunday in November, I think, when Christmas Puddings are home-made. Love the luvin that's cookin up in your kitchen, Cryssa. Sounds mouth-wateringly good and etymologically rich! :)) xx
PRAISE GOD...YOU HAVE FOUND THE SECRET. HOW DO WE, AS CHRISTIANS AND BELIEVERS, GO FROM DAY TO DAY AND SURVIVE LIVING IN THIS CRAZY WORLD. WE REALIZE...THIS IS NOT OUR HOME! WHEN WE GET HOME...EVERYTHING WILL BE PERFECT AND SO SATISFYING. SO, UNTIL THAT TIME COMES ...WE COGITATE ON HEAVENLY THEMES. THIS IS A MOST IMPRESSIVE WRITE. ENJOYED. GOD BLESS AND THANKS FOR SHARING.

Lovely cogitation Cryssa. I use to think that people my age must think about death a lot and so must live in fear of the next bump in the road. I was so very, very wrong. Many of us are thrilled at the thought of one day being in the presence of our first love and every day brings us closer to that day. A huge cause for praise. J'nia
I love this poem for I too have "Cogitation"
You've made me realize I'm thinking too much of heaven
And not of earth! I guess I do that cause there is much to do here!
These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
