The writing style of this poem has a bit of an original twist in it's creation, as witnessed in the words showing in italics in each stanza. (Sorry, but the italics are not apparent in this site's copy.)
Notice that the last word of each stanza is used as the third to the last word in each following stanza, until the last stanza, which incorporates all of the original words italicized (or in this case, the third word from the end of the first sentence) in it's first sentence.

There Is A Sister



There is a sister sweet and prim,
who seldom fails to yield a grin.
She loves to joyfully laugh and play,
whenever guests drop by to stay.

There is a sister prim and proper,
Whose life lessons learnings fail to stop her.
She loves to learn, and pass it on to others;
she also deeply loves her sister, mom, and brothers.

There is a sister proper and kind,
who when a little girl, failed to mind.
She loved to pester, tease, and taunt,
others studying and waking hours, she truly did haunt.

There is a sister, kind and sweet,
who loves skillfully cooking her treats which I delight to eat.
She’s quite the scholar and avid reader;
although she’s small and younger than I,
she has slowly developed into quite a leader, catching every eye.

There is a sister, sweet, prim, proper, and kind;
Even one other like her in a million, would be hard to find.
I know the lift of her constant steps;
I would feel her presence if I were deaf.
The reason is, of course you see,
This special sister is related to me.
