A song to Jesus our Savior.

The Sinners Prayer (A Song) (1) Lord I know that I’m an offender And I have no excusing hope There is darkness in my mines-eye And in my heart a cloud of smoke (2) I have said that I don’t need you Even denied that you are real Never thought I needed anyone But with all things I could deal (Chorus) Now I know that you are Jesus Lord Messiah – King of Kings You are Healer and Provider The forgiver of everything You’re my only hope of freedom You are my saving grace You can wash me free of darkness Cleanse the sin without a trace Your Father sent you down to Earth How we should live you’ve shown You came to die for all who sin And those sins include my own Jesus, I now accept you As my Savior and my King I stand, my heart surrendered You are my everything (3) I believed that you were just a crutch Used to prop up those so weak I said that you were for the feeble For the whiners and the meek (4) I always wanted my own way Had no use for a helping hand I wanted to walk my own path But my way was sinking sand (Repeat Chorus) Jesus, I now accept you As my Savior and my King I stand, my heart surrendered You are my everything

My favorite kind of poem...of redemption and mercy in Christ!
These verses seem to sing themselves as I read them. Excellent!

Convicted, convinced, redeemed by His grace--This is one I would like to hear sung.
"I stand, my heart surrendered" This is just what He deserves when we become His, that we begin to serve Him with our whole hearts.
