It is sad that someone disillusioned with Kirk's message who came from the kind of stuff that Charlie liked, took it upon himself to end Charlie's life. An act that doesn't solve anything, but may create more animosity.

There will be no reincarnation, but every so often, there are people who find a pulpit where they can preach to the desires of like-minded people, generally dividing humanity and encouraging following their way with the money that comes with it. Best selling books, etc.

Sharks, shysters, priests, influencers, purveyors, pundits and pied pipers all only want personal power, money and fame. Preying on the weak of resolve and not really caring anything for them, just saying the right words of empty flattery.
