A friend makes you smile
And sometimes frown
A friend makes you laugh
And sometimes cry!
Makes you change ways
When and if they’re foul
Holds close your hand
On courses so fair!
A friend walks and talks
And sticks with you
Crams and strains the knee
A prayer to raise!
Sees the best of ways
And lets you therein
Loves and loves
And loves again!
You are my friend
Best among many
So dear so precious
You are forever friend!
