Thin air

tall pines

in silhouette

as they

prop up

distant peaks

late day sky

haze drifting in

obscuring mountains afar

I've come again

'tis time to commune

with approaching

full moon

rocky crest

'neath my feet

here I find only

the soul

of tranquility

no competition arises

to disturb

my serenity

I gaze deep

into the

black eyes

of infinity

was this

the origin

of earthly bliss

I'll blow the Heavens

a goodnight kiss

as darkness invades

on this

taciturn lady

wrapping me

in the coolness

of mountain mist
