Can We Make a Deal?
What would this place be without you?
You're a definite spark to us all.
We love your cheering ways, counting,
On you for support when we fall.
Most come to you with problems,
You always lend an ear.
Making us feel better,
With a hug or wiping a tear.
The best way to describe you is,
Like a mother and a friend.
Forever sustaining us,
Tough as a tree that won't bend.
Your dance will live in infamy,
With your dress up in the air.
Bringing chuckles to everyone,
And certainly many stares.
No, this place would never be the same,
If you were no longer here.
No one, to make us laugh,
No one, to diminish our fear.
So I only ask for one thing,
It's not too much I feel.
It's to keep you for a long, long time,
So Kay, can we make a deal?
Written for Kay Auld from Coors
A lovely, glowing dedication to a great friend . . . wonderful!!
