My Priceless Cousin!
 

My cousin’s very beautiful and extremely rare,

She lights up a room so bright, when she is there,

It gets so much dimmer when she is not around.

Her laughs are so priceless and I truly love the sound.

She was with my sister when Lois’s little life was done,

Remembering the love they shared while they were having fun.

Being only five, I’m sure it was hard for her to comprehend,

Wondering what had happened; will her heart ever mend

Her charm and beauty comes from deep inside,

I love her so much, and I say that with pride.

She has an uplifting force, lifting my spirits to the sky,

She’s was always there for me and my sister that’s on high.

To me she’s extra special because she’s very rare,

She’s the only link to my mother’s side, the answer to my prayer.

I will cherish her forever and never let her go,

For she’s my priceless cousin and I truly love her so.
