This is for my Great Uncle Stephen Johnson's 92 birthday. I love you Uncle Stephen.

Dad Led Me to Him!

When dad left this earth I never thought I’d feel his love again,

I had no idea the special gift that my dad picked out to send.

He must have known the pain inside that I would always feel,

So he sent me Great Uncle Stephen, just so my heart could heal.

What a gift he sent me, he has my father’s voice and charm,

He cultivates veggies and flowers and lives on an enchanting farm.

No, I’ve never met him, at least since I am grown,

But he has instilled such love in me and seeds in me he’s sown.

He’s close to God and talks to him and remembers me in prayer.

Oh, how I wish someday to see him and be in his arms back there.

I’d hold him tight and love him for what he’s meant to me,

And give him hugs and kisses so I could make him see.

How lonely my life was before he was lead to me,

And how much pain my heart was in until he set it free.

I’d show how much I loved him and what his calls have meant.

For I could surely prove to him that he was heaven sent.

Written for my precious Great Uncle Stephen Johnson, I love you!

Hot off the press! It's an honor to read of your Uncle Stephen...I can understand the little things like the voice similarity. I used to just love hearing my Aunt Kloma after my Mom died, because it was like hearing Mom's voice again.
Uncle Stephen sounds like not only a dear relative, but a dear friend, and yes, a gift from God for you.

Love,
Connie
