Each one of us has the ability to brighten up someone's day. Let's do it today!

Lighten Up Someone’s Eyes!
 
We have something so valuable that can actually change someone’s life.
It can literally take away their sorrows and lessen their fears & strife.
We all possess this ability but sometimes we never utilize.
We all have this gift & power to lighten up someone’s eyes.
 
So why then is it hard for us, to utilize this wonderful gift?
When it could change a troubled soul and give them such a lift.
I don’t think we realize how special this gift could be.
To someone who needs a lifting from people like you and me.
 
So don’t think twice about it, give it with extreme delight.
Change someone’s life today, don’t wait for another night.
‘Cause if you hold tightly on to it, and keep it for awhile.
You many never know the joy, of giving your valued smile.

What an adorable picture! I can't smile THAT big, but I will try. This is a beautiful poem, possibly my favorite of yours. Full of wisdom and truth and marvelous advice for everyone. What a difference a smile can make!

Love the photograph! Well said and so compassionate! Share a smile and maybe even a laugh, but be careful because is can become very contageous...

My hardest time is nighttime since Tom died and I feel so alone at night and don't sleep well. Anything I can do to get out of this feelng will help me.
