No Need to Ask For More
Give me strength O Lord when the trials seem too great.
Lift me in your arms till all the tribulations and sorrows abate.
Keep me safe in your embrace when I can not walk alone.
And I will give you my all my Lord and will pray and atone.
You walked with me as a child and you always held my hand.
You gave me direction; you were always there to help me stand.
I have always loved you Lord and your spirit lives within me.
It gives me courage, fortitude and stamina for everyone to see.
I hope someday I hear the words that my heart needs badly to hear.
When I stand in front of you and you say to me, “Well done my dear.”
That will be my greatest reward, it’s what I’ve strived a lifetime for.
Wanting very badly to please my Father, no need to ask for more.
