Not All Addictions Are Bad…
Addictions are taking a bad wrap these days and some definitely should.
But all the addictions aren’t so bad, if fact some of them are good.
You might think I’ve finally lost it and my mind has finally snapped.
But I have memories of good addictions in my mind where they’re trapped.
The tender memories of my Grandmother carry her Bible all around.
Sharing God’s love and the word of Jesus to everyone in town.
Then remembering my mother’s cooking and how she loved to share.
She fed everyone who would visit when they came inside her lair.
I remember my grandpa, who dared everyone to a horseshoe game.
No one could ever beat him, but they all had fun just the same.
And my father also had ethical addictions about right and wrong.
And he lived by all those strong convictions, his entire life long.
I also have an addiction, writing words that come from my heart.
And I could no longer give up writing, for of me it’s such a big part.
You could pick the more painful ones that produce a life filled with strife.
I guess it’s all about the addiction you choose to take control of your life.
You could choose one of God’s addictions that will make your life soar.
And you will truly excel in all you do, leaving everyone wanting more.

Love is addictive. For some it's cars and alcohol, others drugs
and rock n roll.
I'm a music nut and a book lover. Elvis, The Beatles, David Bowie and many others have taken up much of my free time --- we're all golfers, you see! Heh, heh!

Stephen King sits down to write every time he thinks. It's a natural thing, that is why he has so many thoughts in his writings, and can wtite them into thousands of pages on any particular topics.
It's a writer's thing to be addicted in writing.
