Clouded Thoughts The fog from my mind clouds the ink in my pen to illusions of Summer Rains A barking dog wags his tail between his legs to a stranger who is deranged. Night and day blend beneath eyes that stare yet, places no blame. The fog thickness, the paper remains dry, the dog stopped barking, the deranged person dies. Copyright 2003 Tracey L. Haride
