Dangerous Knowledge

They say a little bit of knowledge

In this life can be a dangerous thing

The question that I ask is this,

What does one do with dangerous knowledge?

Dangerous knowledge, I believe is knowledge

That is a fact that you would rather not have.

It is knowledge that you’re not sure what to do with.

But you know something must be done.

For instance, what if you know, for fact

That your best friend’s spouse is cheating

Your friend is happy, and blissfully unaware.

Do you shatter that contentment for the sake of the right thing?

What if the knowledge you have

Is of such a dispictable nature

That it will destroy your family togetherness

And will make you an outcast forever?

If your telling will cause hurt to one

And prevent another from being hurt

Tell me, what do you do?

What is the right thing to do here?
