Billy's Tip: The above poem shares a simple tactic. A friend serves two purposes in a bullying situation. One, the bully recognizes that you are not alone and may not be strong enough to tackle two people at the same time. This divides his energy and effectiveness. Second, a buddy is a witness who can also go for help. Teaching a young child the importance of doing things in pairs is a safety technique. The technique is just as valid as we grow older. The adult bully is also less likely to attach when others who are loyal to the intended victim are present.

Great advice! I see red when I see a bully taking advantage of a younger, weaker child. I saw that alot during my school years and to this day I still cringe when I see it. Its a power thing Billy. They want to have 'control' over their victim. Much needed write, Billy.
