Every day, we choose our lives the way that we see fit.
Sometimes our vision is obscured and our hearts are barely lit.
Sometimes our dreams are so cloudy - we forget there is a sun.
Sometimes our love is never shown - our words, a dangerous gun.

Sometimes we distance ourselves to the point of no return.
Sometimes we can't turn back due to bridges we burn.
But there is always light in life - If we're blind, it still guides.
Sometimes we're just too stubborn to see what's before our eyes.

Sometimes our wall of past mistakes becomes too great to overcome.
We forget that mortar crumbles - and we forget just how to love.
Sometimes we're just lost from the herd - but God still sees us through
and lets us find our way back Home - regardless what we say or do.

Other hearts that were shut out, we must find the strength within
for maybe that was God's plan in life - for us to let the lost heart in.
I wish you well on your voyage now that this life is done and through.
For you have found your way back Home...God has delivered you.
