"The Mark" marks the time of an ontological picture of vision and reality through its magnificent lines of art and heedful observation. A poem that honors the language and enriches the reader's mind.
Crisply penned, this reader identifies, having the same mark, the same feelings, the same struggles. But thanks to God for His saving Grace, His washing me white as snow! As imperfect human, I am made pure in His eyes, trials and all. :) Well done, Lori.
Lori, I found this to be sad in many ways, its terrible when one feels as though they've been marked by the devil because life has been so cruel. Life deals many a raw hand in this life and all we can do is to hope when death succumbs us we're dealt the right hand. This is profound and gave this reader something to think about. A great poem...definitely a keeper.
This is nice...you place one within a reflection of how humanity seeks the earthly or materialistic goals, and yet still they fall...better to be poor in wealth and rich in spiritual health...
Lori! I don't have words worthy of responding to this incredible sharing. That should tell you how respecful I am of what you share here. I empathize, believe me. Love and best wishes to you,
