No Not Today!!!!

i'm writing this for a friend
see i sometimes forget things
like i am somebody
and i can be
wonder why it's so easy to believe
the bad things....
i'm writing this for somebody who way back on 5/2/2002
gave me a "reality recipe"
that told me "to capture a dream...."
and the water was so clean that a reflection of the structures were seen a painting i'm sure she did
she is creative, talented that way
makes me want to forget those bad things
and really,really dream
i'm writing this for a remarkable woman
that touches so many lives
her genuine nature remarkablly shines
cause sometimes we forget
how we are loved
and thought of
and no matter how low i go
something in her approach
lets me no
hay God made all things beautiful
and i am somebody
and i'm suppose to be
cause she said to " to sing and grab a song" she said to "carry optimism along" she warns us of the games society plays, and not to be losers, boozers and clowns and of the creator's
embrace
she wrote that cause she knows sometimes we forget and get caught-up in the storm
so easy, so easy to believe
