My two sons watched on September 11, 2001, as the Twin Towers fell to the ground. Men and women jumped out of windows, policemen and firemen died. If a Democrat had been President on that day, 3000 people would've died and nothing would've been done about it. My two sons said that day that they were ready to fight right  then. They wanted to get the ones who had attacked us on our soil. My famiy has stood by and watched cousins go to Iraq to serve and protect our country. Now, my son has joined his cousins. Him and one of his cousins are serving at the same time. I thank God for a Republican President who was not afraid of terrorist or Congress. I thank God for Americna men and women who have and are serving. They feel an obligation to this country. They are proud to be free in this English speaking country. I have never been one that liked war. I have never been one that wanted to hear of another military persons death. I spoke to a former Veteran the other day and he has a differnet view. He said," Do you know how many thousands of men we lost in Vietnam or World War 2?" He said, "I dislike knowing that anyone has died but, we have came a long way." He said,"Instead of 20 some thousand men dying, there are 3 to 4 thousand."

   None of us like war but, I am proud of every American service person we have. This is the first attack on American soil since Pearl Harbor. Were we suppose to sit back, twittle our thumbs, bury our dead and wait on the terrorist to return? I am thankful that our children are listening to God, General's and the President. This should not be decided by Congress men and women. We should have enough respect for the person that is in office to lead our country. It is hard enough to be President, without people breathing down your neck all of the time.

   The President said that 1500 troops will be coming home by Christmas from Iraq. He also stated that there should be 137,000 troops in Iraq in July, 2008.
