The Greatest Friend Of All!

Poem Artwork

“My Friend”

How great it would be to know the depths of the sea.
You formed them with the touch of Your hand and
Gently rolled them back across the land.
Land You called shore. Just so far as not to soak The gentleness of the sand.

Who is this Man
I call Friend?

You gave the birds song as they tottle along.
Against the wind as we watch their tiny wings
Bend ever so gently as they come to rest in the
Nest that appears so majestic in form.

Who is this Man
I call Friend?

You shower us with love that You send from
Above in ways that seem hidden. If we look
With our hearts and know from the start that
We , Your creation were formed for Your joy.

Then eyes could behold the sights and pleasures
Untold from the One who walks the streets of
Gold.

Who is this Man
I call Friend?

Can we, creation, who were formed long ago
Explain the mysteries of the winter snow?
Do we dare even try to make sense of it all
When He who knows all is in charge?
No matter what we say or think we could
Never comprehend the might and power
Of the Man we call Friend!

How great is the love the Father has lavished
On us, that we should be called children of God!
And that is what we are. From the fullness of
God’s grace we have received one blessing
After another.

I worship this Man we call Friend!

Such a spiritual piece, once again showing how we are all children and soldiers of God. His love unconditional and his forgiveness beyond measure.....

Be always safe,
Karen

I've added you to my tracker list. I love the way your faith is outward flowing rather than inward centered. Keep up the good work.

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
