Not Just Any Man
I met a man. I wanted to tell you all about Him. How He loves me in spite of me. How He is always there no matter how busy He is.
How He does not care that you love your hair in a pony tail, or you hate make-up, or you love tennis shoes with your dresses. How He does not care that you prefer to sleep in flannel and not silk.
How He is there when you wake and there when you sleep. How His eyes are always loving and His touch is always tender. How you are always on His mind throughout the day and also throughout the night.
How He hung the stars for you, polished the moon for you and also supercharged the sun for you. How you can never get away from Him even if you try.
How He holds your tears, calms your fears and also lends a compassionate ear. How He adores your children, loves your animals and never judges you by the car you drive, the amount in your bank account or how your house looks.
How He always has a Word of encouragement for you, a sweet hug for you, a glorious smile for you. How He will never leave you, never forsake you and always need you. How He enjoys your laughter, your smile and the giddiness of your wit.
How He never scolds when you eat popcorn with milk, spaghetti with a spoon and ice cream from the carton. How He’s never mad when you wake Him up to just say I love You, can You hold me?
How He enjoys your joys and hears your fears and loves what you love even though it makes no sense.
I waited all my life for this Man. Actually He waited much longer for me. So on August 27, 1999 we were married I wanted to introduce you to the love of my life today and forever.
Come on ladies and gentlemen there’s enough of Him to go around!
