Today a good shepherd went home .
Catholics all over the world cried openly in grief .

As members of Gods family
We have hope in the resurrection this is our belief .

We know one day we shall see him again ,
But for now God has taken home our Pope to stay .

On the last day we will resurrect and say.
God bring us our loved ones who had passed away .

Dear Lord in your loving care he was placed .
I never knew how much he meant until he died .

But for the present time here and now Lord
Is it too late now to tell him on the other side ?

We love him and we miss him Lord .
We long for the day to meet again in eternity .

Thank you Lord for Pope John Paul the second .

In our hearts he will be with us eternally .
