Christmas In The Army (2006) By Paul Mc Cann I won’t be home for Christmas the army has me over here , So carve up the Christmas turkey and open another beer . Remember me and make a toast , good health in the year to come . Then in a moments silence say a prayer for everyone . Soon we’ll see you all again and join in with every sound . Amid the laughter there at Christmas , maybe next time around . Christmas in the army is like another family here . We look after one another and create some Christmas cheer . We are enjoying Christmas in the army with all our hearts. and hope and pray that peace will come after Christmas time departs .

This is perfect, Paul, and I know that every Soldier who will not be home for Christmas shares your point of view. I keep them all in my prayers and pray that peace will come so that they can all share their children's smiles on Christmases to come.
