I walked into pink ribbons tied to an October day .

They were pinned to peoples clothing in a nice kind of way .

I saw them there at work where people have their morning tea .

Later at the swimming pool more pink ribbons greeted me .

On the way back home I called in to a facility ,

Where old people all wore ribbons for all the world to see .

Pink ribbons on their wheelchairs , pink ribbons in their hair ,

Pink ribbons on their clothing , pink ribbons everywhere .

Specifically pink ribbons are to make people aware .

Of those who have breast cancer and those who may want to know ,

Why there are so many pink ribbons everywhere you go .
