Hiding in a silent shroud .
God knows its not feeling proud .
To be alone in the crowd .
Depression is a dark cloud .

Emptiness in the heart space .
Where people don’t show their face .
As tears fall down in disgrace ,
Depression is a sad place .

Sometimes its so hard too speak .
about things that are skin deep .
Depression is blue and bleak .
God is strong when we are weak.

There is a void in us all
where God answers when we call .
Our troubles seem so small ,
When God’s healing starts to fall.


In the void where God is found ,
There is sight and there is sound .
There is love to spread around ,
We’re lifted up , not put down .
