A legend had passed a few days ago,a star like no other ,he made us believe in being human and better ourselves too,he was actor Leonard Nimoy . He played many roles and directed too. But none would be remembered like that of Mr.Spock. He was logical to a fault, he would from episode to episode show bits of humanity or being being human though he was not.
It seemed over the years he mellowed a bit then in time as we all do, we realize we outgrown ourselves,we've become too old for our usefulness.
But he carried on like we all do and we have too it is for we are .Spock will be missed as well as the actor that portrayed him.But he will not be forgotten,at least not in our lifetime .Goodbye Mr Spock and Leonard Nimoy rest in peace it is your time now. You were an inspiration to us all, you made us cry you made us smile and you made us laugh as well, but most important you made us think . Even Vulcans must die sooner or later to live two hundred years is ok by me . Even to live to be a hundred would be fine by me. But being human I can only expect to live to be fifty or eighty three . By then I should be able to better myself if not there is something wrong indeed.

We must remember that Mr. Spock was a character written into a TV series and then later written into movies. While the writers and Nimoy's fine acting made the character seem real, he was not. People seem to be drawn by these fictional characters because they are shaped to be less complex as our fellow humans. Therefore we can identify with them and often do. Hence, your poem to Nimoy as is character more so than himself.
