I know you
Almost
I see your face - sometimes
Out there in front of me, telling me
That you are the one
That with you I could be happy
I could be faithful
I could have multiple orgasms
I could eat popcorn
In bed
With you I could be finally satisfied
Completely
All I have to do is find you
You’re always
Just out of my grasp
Not quite in focus as I strain to make out
Your features
Like slow motion photography
I hurry toward you
And
Never seem to get there
I look into faces of strangers
Wondering
Is he the one
But the connection is never there
It is never you
You are still out there
somewhere
