This place has started to remind me
Of Union Station on a holiday
Everyone crying goodbye, I’m going
Wish everyone the best
Never mind why
I just have to go
See you all again someday
But I’ve noticed hardly anyone ever leaves
Sincere as our intentions may well be
It’s hard to stay away
You come in just to look and read
Maybe leave a comment or two
But someone else’s work inspires thought
And suddenly you have more to say
So you write just one more poem
Thinking why should I go away
And the next thing you know
You’re here and encouraging someone else
Not to go
And this is as it should be
This is where we belong
Thomas Wolfe was wrong
We can always go home again
