Promise me love

Promise me heat that burns and blazes

Without ever burning me out

Promise me passion that makes me shudder

And quake

Without ever making me a slave

Promise me words that sooth my soul

Without drowning out the voice in me

Promise me kisses that quench and sate

While still letting me breath my own air

Hold on to me with all the strength you have

But promise I’ll always be free

Give me your all, your essence your being

Without ever weighing me down

Promise me the world

But please

Always

Give me love

How beautiful, how gladly I would make a promise like this and let you still be free as the breeze. And promise you that you will fly at my touch far far away to the land of milk and honey. Your honey to satiate my desires in the flames of love. Harmony and desire witout a backward glance.
You deserve to be the queen bee in a hive of happiness. Minions at your feet for you to choose your favorite choice when the urge strikes. bill

If this ever happens for you, congrats. That would be the near perfect relationship. Love the title, very intriguing. The poem lives up to it.

Warm Love,
