just one of those days:
perfect place,
perfect food,
the sun shining and
everyone but you happy.
across the table another
being, with nothing to say,
nothing to brighten the mood,
just a slug absorbing food.
nice day, you say,
but who knows, it might
just be another day
of torture
of moods
and no mood ring
to turn
dull gray
into technicolor.
