I couldn't help but think that the glow mentioned, that lasts even after love's deep ardor burns to ashes, might feel a little cold. But it doesn't have to be I see. I really like how this was written. Nicely done!
well i had to go and check out what the word 'lux' meant coz id never heard of it before.
i think what youre saying here is beautiful in that it isnt the purchase itself but also the way it is presented that brings the glow to the heart/face of the person presented it.
and even if something goes awry and the two split up for whatever reason they will both still remember the way love was presented... be it in a huge 'marry me now' at a baseball game kinda way or a 'what this ring doing in my glass' kinda way...
