Mothers very precious and strong,
they are God's gift to the world,
to him always they belong,
from love's labor to the throne!
Beyond ghettos' to the White House,
you better believe it brother.
Our president strong and mighty,
was a babe in the arms of his mother!
Mayor's his chin tight governor's head up,
once they drunk from a plastic cup.
Mary Lou redden and Rosa Parks,
mothers' once racked and tourched their hearts.
When you climb the highest peak,
reach its top and receive your crown.
Your mom and family prayed for you,
to keep you feet stable on solid ground.
So kiss your mom and hold her tight,
and thank her for those trying nights,
Remember when you couldn't stand?
While you were falling she grabbed your hand!

I can not say it any better.
Happy Mothers Day to all mothers
past and present, thank God for
each and every one of You.
Your words bring me back to a wonderful Mother who was always there for me, picking me up when I fell, listening to me when I needed her, as the oldest of eight, I watched Mama as she wiped noses, and doctored on skinned knees, and mended broken hearts. At 39 yrs. old Michael, my Mother was hit by a car as she crossed the road. The car kept going, taking with it the backbone of our home, the Mother we loved so much. Its been many years ago since that happened but the memory is always fresh in my heart. Last month she would have had a birthday had she lived. As Mothers Day approaches I pray every one who's fortunate enough to have a Mother to hold her to your heart and let her know you love her. God gave me a wonderful Mother, and I know I will see her again one day. Thank you, Michael for this wonderful tribute.
Many wonderful blessings,
~Linda

Blessed are those that know the value of MOTHERS and pay due devotion to them while they exist in flesh and spirit, and thereafter keep honoring their holy mission through acts and deeds.
