Stand anyway that's the price we pay, for justice!
Martin Luther King Jr. dream came alive,
brothers and sister when he died!
That dreams lives in me and you,
the things we say and things we do,
the people we help; to,
make their dreams come true !
When we volunteer and give
food, shelter and clothe the poor,
the small things that we do.
but the Lord requires much more!
Brighten that smile on a,
dirty child,s face,
help them walk that extra mile.
Help them stand for justice,
at racism and bigotry smile!
Help the orphans ans sisters in need
these are Godly virtues
in which we must heed!
Stand for the weak,
keep fighting for the poor,
stand for the truth that will,
open wide heaven's door!
You will be beat on, talked about,
even slapped in the face like our Lord!
Stand anyway that the price we pay,
for love constantly out poured!
BRAVO!!! This poem is POWERFUL. Outstanding! It should be read by everyone, Michael. You have a winner here.
Love and blessings,
