My brown eyes opened,
fresh air infiltrated my lungs,
body sprung out of bed,
I wanted to walk and run!
My wife in the bathroom,
completed her daily groom.
We slept peaceably under,
starlit sky a July moon!
We mask up headed for the door,
a new day before us to explore!
Eagerly outside sun brightly shone,
like specks in the universe,
Thank God we are not alone!
Seventy degree breezy day,
walk of comfort all the way.
I sung love songs to my wife,
Temptations songs enjoined the day.
The perfect day what a way,
leaves branches in trees sway,
cars hunky horns oh how they speed,
effortless walk our daily deed!
We walk down Seward left at Second,
south towards East Grand Blvd.,
left turn towards Woodward Avenue,
left at Woodward North to Seward.
Perfect day all the way,
all my wife and I could say,.
Thank you God for protecting us,
each and every step of the way!
PERFECT DAY, INDEED...AMEN AND AMEN! MANY OF US SEEM TO NOT REALIZE...TO GO OUT OF OUR HOMES AND THEN RETURN A BLESSING AND PROFOUND PROOF OF THE POWER OF GOD TO PROTECT AND GUIDE US WHEREVER WE ARE. FOR IT IS NOT THE FOUR WALLS OF OUR HOMES THAT PROTECT BUT, INDEED, GOD HIMSELF! WELL DONE AND ENJOYED, MY FRIEND. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS
Each day that we walk out of our house and into the light of day is a good day. I will agree with that, but I don't think I'd want anything, "infiltrating" my lungs.
