God will not forgive you until you can forgive others; It is God's law! Peace!!!
I guess I could be angry,
at everybody I know,
at least almost everybody!
At one time or another,
one of my family members,
friends and associates.
Have offended or done,
me some kind of harm!
Probably wish me some ill will?
When I was young beat on often,
I have been lied on quite a bit,
jealously stabbed me in my lung!
Many promises given and broken,
by people I believe in!
The spirit of God dwelling in me,
help me rise above all enemies!
I have forgiven them all,
thank God my heart is cleanse,
and my soul is set free,
I have victory in Christ!
The Holy Scriptures teaches us,
the King James version,
in Ephesians chapter 4 verse 32.
I quote: And be ye kind one to another,
tenderhearted, forgiving one another,
even as God for Christ sake,
hath forgiven You!
A WONDERFUL TESTIMONY OF TRUTH, FOR WE 'MUST' FORGIVE IF WE ARE TO BE FORGIVEN MY GOD. THIS THING, THE WORD OF GOD TELLS US TO DO. BY THE STRENGTH OF GOD I HAVE DONE THIS, THOUGH IT WASN'T EASY. AND I CAN SEE THAT MY SON HAS GROWN IN THE SPIRIT TREMENDOUSLY...FOR HE HAS LEARNED TO DO THIS ALSO. WHEN I SAY TO YOU THIS IS A MIRACLE...IT IS, GIVEN THE LONG ROAD TO JESUS HE HAS OBVIOUSLY EMBARKED ON AND IS MAKING PROGRESS ON. Forgiveness, when offered, is a sign that the forgiver is somehow, greater, than the one being forgiven. For humble followers, this becomes quite a burden. For one has to believe that one is superior to others in order to forgive them (like God?). I guess that is why it is so hard for people to forgive. They are not powerful enough or self-serving enough to have the power of forgiveness.
Unless we can love ourselves the way we are. Accept who we are and not be swayed by what others write or say, we cannot be in a position with enough power to forgive. I guess that's why almost everyone just lashes out and tries to retaliate.
