Christ the Savior is born, Christ our Savior is born!

Here the chimes its Christmas time.
The joy and wonder of yesteryear,
advent bells are loud in clear,
proclaiming our Lord will soon appear!
Festive sounds the joy and cheer,
succulent smells appear.
Hams, turkeys, gravy, pumpkins
hot buttered rolls sweet potato pies,
a decorated Christmas tree,
beams right before yours eyes!
We must not forget the reason,
that we share this wondrous season.
Christ our Savior was born this day,
to chase misery sin and death away!
People not just today but forever,
God's love towards ceasing never!
Forgiveness, salvation, reconciliation,
has come to reacquaint families,
with the Father and Son!
Go tell it on street corners, allies,
gutters and everywhere,
Christ the Savior is born!
